Fallout 4 has received a non-extgenic patch for current-gen consoles

Fallout 4 received the much-anticipated update, thanks to which the game is now fully supported on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. In addition, the developers have made improvements to the project itself and added new content.

Prvdda, owners of copies of the game through PS Plus did not get access to the non-xtgen-version of Fallout 4. With the installation of the update players get access to several DLC from Creation Club at no additional cost, including the quest about the Enclave, a set of power armor, various sets of weapons and Halloween decor.

For PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, the developers have offered two graphics modes:

• "Performance" mode: 60 frames per second at 4K resolution, standard graphics settings and dynamic rendering resolution.
• "Quality" mode: 30 frames per second at 4K resolution, maximum graphics settings and fixed rendering resolution.

In addition, Fallout 4 is now certified for use on Steam Deck, which means adaptation of the interface to the small screen of the portable console and stable operation on its hardware platform.
