An update has been released for Dying Light 2, adding firearms to the game

Techland has celebrated the second anniversary of Dying Light 2 by releasing an extensive Firearms update that adds firearms to the zombie apocalypse world.

Described as the most extensive update since release, the update includes a unique Lost Armory quest that justifies the introduction of the firearms arsenal into the game's universe. Players logging into the game by March 7 will be given an exclusive Harran pistol.

The list of available firearms now includes pistols, submachine guns, rifles and shotguns. New message board missions have been added, including encounters with characters from the first game, Tolga and Fatin. The update introduces survival missions and "elite" missions with the ability to earn caretaker tokens for completing them.

In addition to the guns, the game has received graphical and technical improvements.
