Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is played by less than 100 players at its peak

The action game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has lost almost all of its audience on Steam. Three months after its launch, the game's peak online numbers now rarely exceed 200 people, and nighttime numbers often fall below 100 players.

The project was not meeting the expectations of publisher Warner Bros. In late March, as online began to decline, the developers released the first season of content that temporarily boosted player numbers with the addition of the Joker.

However, the innovations of the first season failed to generate long-term interest in the game. By early April, peak online had dropped back to less than 500 people. To keep online levels high, the developers would likely need to release new content every month, but Rocksteady Studios is not yet planning such a frequency of updates. The next season will be released at a later date.

Rocksteady has not commented on the current situation, while Warner Bros. Games has admitted that the game has not achieved the expected results.
