The classic map Erangel will return to PUBG

Krafton and PUBG Studios have announced a special event for PUBG: Battlegrounds, where players will be able to enjoy the original Erangel map in its classic version called "Erangel Classic".

The developers aim to recreate the nostalgic atmosphere of early 2017, when the game was in Early Access. Fans of the game can expect weather conditions in the form of rain and fog, weapons scattered on the tables on the starting island, as well as the old design of fonts, interface and graphics.

The Erangel Classic map will be available from May 14-28 on PC and May 23-June 6 on consoles, temporarily replacing the current version of the Erangel map in standard matches.
