Songs of Conquest strategy game has been released, with the developers announcing console versions of the game

Coffee Stain Publishing and Lavapotion Studios have announced that two years after launch, the strategy game Songs of Conquest has left Early Access and is now available on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG.

To celebrate the event, the developers have released a release trailer, updated the soundtrack, and unveiled a digital artbook. In addition, Lavapotion said it is actively working on the console version of Songs of Conquest, which is already "running great" on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Bitwave team, which previously supported the game's release on Steam Deck, is helping to develop the console version, scheduled for release in the fall. The next step will be porting the game to Nintendo Switch.

Songs of Conquest is a turn-based strategy game inspired by classic nineties games. In it, players hire powerful magisters, control armies, search for artifacts, build cities, and conquer enemies. With the release of version 1.0, the game received a fourth campaign for the Baria faction, Steam collectible cards, AI improvements, and many other new features.
