An update with new cars and drag racing has been released for NFS Unbound

EA and Criterion Games have released the seventh content update for Need for Speed Unbound, titled Drift & Drag. The patch adds new modes of drift and drag races, as well as new cars to the arcade race.

For drifting the developers introduced a special type of tires that improves handling.

The main innovations of the update Drift & Drag:

• Racing in drift and drag formats - modes are available in PvP and in free ride.
• Free Ride features League mode, which adds single-player elements to the online mode. Players complete challenges and compete against experienced racers. The mode is inspired by the Underground Racing League from NFS Underground.
• The new cars are the '23 BMW M3 Competition Touring and the '24 Ford Mustang Dark Horse.
• Cars for the premium battle pass are the Nissan 350Z from Underground 2, Nissan Skyline from Underground and Mitsubishi Eclipse from.
