Ubisoft noted that the XDefiant internal test went well

XDefiant executive producer Mark Rubin reached out to the gaming community via social media to share the results of a recent open stress test. Rubin said that the team was pleased with the results and will soon announce an official release date for the shooter.

According to Rubin, the testing helped the Ubisoft San Francisco team identify key aspects for refinement, including fixes for the Delta-01 bug, lag and health indicator refresh rate. The player matching system will also be improved to optimize ping.

XDefiant, developed by the former Call of Duty creators, is scheduled for release on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The release was originally scheduled for October last year, but was postponed indefinitely.
