The Finals have increased the amount of experience you get by 10 times

Embark Studios has released an update for the shooter The Finals that has made changes to the game's balance and accelerated progression. The developers claim that the new patch will allow gamers to reach the end of the season faster.

The third season of The Finals is expected in mid-June, but there has been no official announcement from the development team yet.

Major changes:

• APS Turret now loses durability for every projectile neutralized.
• A rare bug that caused voice chat to not work has been fixed on Xbox.
• Experience from daily contracts has been increased from 1000 XP to 10,000 XP.
• Received experience for actions in matches increased by 50%.
• Added support for invites via Steam.
• On PC and consoles, introduced an option to limit frame rate and resolution in the main menu if the game is minimized or idle for a long time - this feature is available in the Energy Saving setting in the Video section.
• Improved methods of catching players using controller emulation devices when playing with keyboard and mouse.

The Finals is available for free on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The shooter is developed by former DICE veterans under the direction of Patrik Soderlund.
