The Finals have kicked off their third season

Embark Studios has released the third season for the conditionally free-to-play shooter The Finals, adding a significant amount of new content. Players can now access the "Kyoto 1568" map representing mid-16th century Japan, a new World Tour tournament, and a host of balance changes and gameplay improvements.

Season 3 Innovations:

• Kyoto 1568 map: a new game map inspired by medieval Japan.
• World Tour Tournament: is a 24-player ladder. Players compete in Cashout Tournament mode, rising from bronze to gold and beyond as they progress through the tournament grid.
• Tournament Rankings: Leaderboards are now available.
• Content rotation: World Tour tournaments will change maps, their design and various modifiers.

Embark Studios promises regular updates and rotation of maps and modifiers to keep World Tour tournaments interesting.
