Payday 3 features fast play and the ability to hide on a train

Starbreeze is actively working to improve Payday 3 after its disappointing launch. The Swedish studio has released an extensive update for the co-op shooter, introducing a number of new features, including those requested by players as well as features brought back from the previous installment in the series.

The most important changes include:

• The introduction of a quick play option, allowing you to join heists on a selected difficulty level.
• The option to stay on the current team after a match, which is decided by voting.
• Significant stability improvements and reduced crashes: Starbreeze claims to have fixed 90% of server crashes and 70% of client side crashes.
• Added a shock grenade, available from level 39 of Infamy.
• Ability to skip the starting video before starting missions.
• Implemented the ability to climb into a van to escape, as was the case in Payday 2.
• Added unique inspection animations for certain assault rifles, including the KU-59, Northwest B-9, CAR-4, and VF-7S models.
• Fixed performance issues on the Xbox Series S console.

After the failure of Payday 3, Starbreeze underwent a CEO change. In mid-February, the company unveiled a plan to save the game called Operation Medic Bag, which the developers claim will take the entire year 2024 to complete.
