Ubisoft has renamed Assassin's Creed Infinity as Animus Hub

Ubisoft has announced the renaming of the hub app that brings together the new Assassin's Creed installments, dropping the name Assassin's Creed Infinity. This was announced by company officials in an interview with journalist Stephen Totilo.

The app, which will now be called Animus Hub, will retain all the previous features. Through Animus Hub, players will be able to access new games in the Assassin's Creed series, as well as additional content, including DLC and expansions. The hub will also be used to distribute battle passes, which will first appear in Assassin's Creed Shadows.

It is rumored that Animus Hub will also offer a subscription service that provides access to older games in the series and bonuses for new releases. However, the developers have not yet revealed all the details of the hub's functionality.

The first game available through Animus Hub will be Assassin's Creed Shadows, which is scheduled for release on November 15, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
