The creators of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 have promised not to add micropayment mechanics to the game

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 promises to be a very special project. The game combines third-person action with hack-and-slash elements, offering plenty of options to play both solo and with friends. Recently, developer Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Entertainment confirmed that Space Marine 2 will not feature microtransactions or an in-game store.

The announcement comes after the introduction of Helldivers 2-style co-op mode and PvP multiplayer at the Warhammer Skulls event, promising high replayability and a long lifespan for the game. But if we're going to be playing Space Marine 2 for a long time, the logical question is whether there will be microtransactions like most big games with live service.

Space Marine 2 comes out in September.
