System Shock remake has been given a release date on consoles

The Nightdive studio team decided on the release date of System Shock remake on consoles.

The game will appear on new platforms on May 21 this year. At the same time, the project will be released both on the current generation consoles and on the previous generation. Earlier it was assumed that the new versions of the game will get in early 2024, but the developers delayed a bit - it took more time for the final polishing of gameplay.

Previously, the creators of System Shock said that in the final console version they will completely redo the ending. Apparently, it was not very much liked by players, although initially, when the remake was released on PC in May 2023, the novelty received extremely positive reviews from users and critics.
