Prison Architect 2's release has been delayed again

Paradox Interactive and Double Eleven have again postponed the release of Prison Architect 2 strategy game.

Initially it was planned to release the game on March 26, but then the date was changed to May 7. Now the release has been postponed to September 3.

Prison Architect 2 development team said that the final versions of the game are ready and have passed the necessary certification on all platforms. However, despite this, it was decided to postpone the release for four months for additional optimization.

Problems encountered by the developers include excessive memory consumption and unstable performance on the minimum required configurations. The delay will also provide an opportunity to improve the project's game mechanics.
