Alone in the Dark developers have added a New Game+ mode to the game

THQ Nordic and Pieces Interactive have released a major update for the reboot of Alone in the Dark, which not only fixes a lot of bugs, but also adds new content. Specifically, New Game+ mode and photo mode have been introduced to the game.

The New Game+ mode becomes available after completing the campaign for the first time. In this mode, users can start a repeat playthrough with already unlocked weapons, redesigned balance and stronger enemies.

Pieces Interactive has also added new gameplay events and scary moments, as well as an alternate intro.

Major changes:

• Added two additional slots for recent autosaves.
• Introduced an instructional pop-up window for inspection mode.
• Introduced a contextual dodge guide for when players have not used this technique in combat for a long time.
• The melee guide will now be displayed if the player is in combat when picking up a weapon.
• Added new icons for Molotov cocktails and bricks that can be thrown.
• Added keyboard camera control settings to the key reassignment menu.
• Improved game performance.
• Optimization for Steam Deck: separate graphics settings, interface support and controller icons.

Alone in the Dark is available on various platforms and has received significant improvements that make the gameplay even more exciting and comfortable.
