Lords of the Fallen has received two new hardcore modes

Clash of Champions update was released for Lords of the Fallen soulslayer, which is aimed at hardcore gameplay fans. It adds two new modes to the game: Echoes of Battle and Crucible.

The mechanics of these modes are centered around boss battles. In Echoes of Battle, players can replay boss battles, while Crucible mode is a series of challenges.

In Crucible mode, gamers will have to defeat six bosses in succession, each more difficult than the previous one. In case of defeat, the challenge will be failed, but the player chooses which bosses to fight.

A variety of rewards are given for successfully completing challenges in Crucible mode, including exclusive armor customization items. No word yet on the rewards in Echoes of Battle mode.
