The developer who led the creation of the new Battlefield installment has left EA

It became known that the company EA left Markus Lehto, who served as one of the project managers.

Markus joined the studio in 2021, and since then he has worked on several major tasks. It is known that at the time of leaving EA under the leadership of this man was creating the next part of the series of shooters Battlefield (namely, its story component). For 2 weeks before that Lehto actively communicated with the team and discussed the future of the title, but then he suddenly quit.

Neither the developer himself, nor his former management has not officially called the reasons for parting. Recall that earlier it became known that EA has revised its views on the development of new parts of Battlefield. Perhaps the reason for the dismissal were creative differences between Lehto and his colleagues.
