Insider: development of the Twisted Metal reboot has been halted

Game insider and journalist Jason Schreier reported that Sony has stopped development of a reboot of the Twisted Metal franchise.

It is reported that this was caused by cuts in the internal studios of the holding company, which did not bypass the Firesprite team. However, according to Schreier, the development of the new Twisted Metal was still at a very early stage, so, in fact, we lost only the concept, which did not even have time to get funding.

Nevertheless, Twisted Metal series has a lot of fans, most of them are already grown up and established men, who in their childhood liked to play dynamic races on cars with a lot of guns.
