The new season of Rainbow Six Siege shooter has been announced

Ubisoft has announced the second season of Rainbow Six Siege's ninth year of development, titled Operation New Blood. Major new features, which will launch on June 11, include a revamped Recruit and a monthly subscription.

The Recruit now has a new look and is based on two archetypes: the attacking Striker and the defensive Sentry. The attacker uses the M4 or M249 as his primary weapon, while the defensive uses the Commando 9 or M870.

Additional Changes:

All players with a Recruit will receive a voucher for one locked operative. If a player has all operatives unlocked, they will receive 600 R6 credits.
Starting June 25, a trading platform will be available for users with two-factor authentication to exchange skins using R6 credits.
A Rainbow Six Siege Membership subscription will cost $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year. Subscribers will receive exclusive cosmetic items, access to a battle pass with a 10 stage pass, and other bonuses.
Rainbow Six Siege is available on PC and consoles of both generations.
