Debut trailer and first information about Assassin's Creed Shadows

Ubisoft has unveiled a cinematic trailer of the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed game set in the setting of feudal Japan, Assassin's Creed Shadows. Previously known as Assassin's Creed Red, Shadows will allow players to fulfill their shinobi fantasies by playing as a ninja named Naoe.

Assassin's Creed Shadows will also allow players to take on the role of the legendary black samurai Yasuke. Unlike other games in the series, which also featured two protagonists, the two playable characters in Shadows offer different gameplay styles and abilities.

Trained as a shinobi assassin from the Iga Province, Naoe Fujibayashi embarks on a journey across Japan seeking revenge to fulfill an impossible promise. After becoming a loyal samurai for Oda Nobunaga, Yasuke finds new purpose as he faces the demons of his past.

Assassin's Creed Shadows will be released on Mac, PlayStation 5, Windows PC and Xbox Series X on November 15.
